Founded by Alley Kat, Reparation Movement Organization is a program that allows inmates to pay back society through art. The process begins when an incarcerated artist fills out a membership form and submits art for review. If selected, the design is screen printed on 100% cotton tees to generate revenue for various community restoration projects. Contributing artists receive their choice of literature subscriptions, reading glasses, shoes and other necessary items in exchange for the donated art. The idea of Reparation Movement is to provide outlets and create funding for those who wish to rehabilitate themselves.
