Botaq and Ayid started playing music together at Shah Alam where both of them are home town buddies in Shah Alam. Although Botaq and Ayid were in different bands, they used to hang out together and sometimes Ayid become session drummer for Botaq’s band i.e. Lydias Diery. The idea of Botaq & Ayid came when Botaq invited Ayid to join him to produce some acoustic stuff as another prologue of their music with pop & rock n roll style in an acoustic version!!!

Each member of BAS comes from a different musical world, and the resulting mix is what makes their music so special. Shredding guitar licks, soaring gypsy violin, a little ukulele and the thump of an old time bass bounce around with a jazz accordion and creative percussion to create a new sound.
